The city, right now

Who owns Trondheim?

Every property in BloodRivals is a real address, taken by someone who stood there. This is Trondheim as the game sees it: how much ground is held, how many play here, and the landmarks at stake.

The figures are ranges, not exact counts — on purpose, because an exact number in a small city can single out individual players. Taken from the game on 2026-10-27, and updated when the site is rebuilt, not in real time.

So who owns the city?

Nobody owns all of it, and the answer keeps changing. Trondheim is split address by address between the players and teams holding them, and an address is yours only until someone takes it. Which team holds which building is on the map in the app.

This page publishes no names, no teams and nobody’s home — only the city as a whole. That is a choice, not a gap.

Landmarks you can take in Trondheim

Some buildings are curated as landmarks in the game. They are taken like any other address: an undefended one falls to whoever stands there; a guarded one takes fighters.

  • NidarosdomenNorway's national cathedral, built over the grave of St Olav.
  • StiftsgårdenThe royal residence on Munkegata — the largest wooden palace in Scandinavia.
  • TyholttårnetThe tower with the revolving restaurant, visible from most of the city.
  • Gamle BybroThe red "Lykkens portal" over Nidelva, looking down the wharves of Bakklandet.
  • Kristiansten festningThe 1681 fortress on the hill above the city.

Munkholmen, the island in the fjord, is something else: it is the Temple — holy ground, where no attack lands.

Honest about the size

BloodRivals is a small game. Its players are concentrated in Norway, chiefly Trondheim and Oslo — which is why these two cities have pages of their own. There are no bots on the map; every rival is a person.

The board, right now

The whole game, every city, right now: 269 registered players holding 60,493 properties. (as published 2026-10-27 — the app shows the live count)

Common questions

Can you play BloodRivals in Trondheim?
Yes. The player base is concentrated in Norway, chiefly Trondheim and Oslo, so in Trondheim there are already people to play against. You claim real addresses in the city by standing at them.
Who owns Nidarosdomen in BloodRivals?
It changes. Nidarosdomen is a landmark in the game, and its building is taken like any other address. Who holds it right now is shown in the app — this site does not publish who holds which building.
Does it cost anything to take an address in Trondheim?
No. The app is free on iPhone and Android, and claiming an address costs nothing. There are optional in-app purchases, but nothing has to be bought to play, and there are no ads.

No ads. Optional in-app purchases.
