A location-based territory game. You claim real street addresses by physically standing at them, build them up so they generate in-game income, and hold them against other players who can take them back. There is no augmented reality, nothing to catch, and no route or distance tracking.

What it needs

• A phone with GPS, and a willingness to go outside — claiming an address requires being at it. You can manage what you already hold from anywhere.
• An account, which takes an email address. Position is used live rather than kept as a movement history; what is and is not retained is on the privacy page.
• Walking, not running. There is no pace requirement and no workout to complete.

What it costs

Free to download and free to play, with no advertising of any kind — no rewarded video, no banners, no ad SDK. There are optional in-app purchases (BloodCoins, an in-game currency), and nothing has to be bought in order to play. There is no real-money payout: coins and property exist only inside the game.

Before you install — the honest part

The player base is small and concentrated in Norway, chiefly Trondheim and Oslo. The map works anywhere buildings are mapped, but outside those cities you would be starting a board rather than joining one. That is worth knowing now rather than after a week of playing alone — the live count is on the home page if you want to check it before downloading.
